As a Project Manager, you'll take the lead on a range of government and public works projects. Whether it's a long-term campus redevelopment or transit infrastructure upgrades, you'll guide projects from pre-construction through closeout with a focus on safety, compliance, efficiency, and collaboration.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee contracts, finances, risks, scheduling, change orders, and stakeholder coordination
  • Lead weekly OAC meetings and assist with permitting processes
  • Collaborate on master schedules, procurement, subcontractor/supplier negotiations, and safety planning
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, and quality control processes
  • Ensure adherence to prevailing wage laws, codes, and best practices in public contracting
  • Coordinate bidding, estimation, and preconstruction activities
  • Perform constructability reviews, value engineering, and lifecycle cost analyses
  • Prepare complete project turnover packages, including warranties, as-builts, and final certifications
  • Track labor productivity and forecast staffing needs
  • Maintain strong client, subcontractor, and consultant relationships
  • Process billing, certified payroll, lien waivers, and insurance documentation
  • Manage change orders and maintain the change management log.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in project management, ideally within public works or transportation sectors
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, Bluebeam, ProjectSight, or Procore experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with public contracting, prevailing wage compliance, and building codes
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving recordProjects are based in the Portland Metro Area. Candidates should reside within a 45-minute commute.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time position
  • Competitive salary range at $95,000 to $125,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Health and dental insurance (50% employer-paid)
